AB was worth the gamble at the time. If he has a bad camp, they absolutely cannot pick up his 16-17 option. Getting Wiggins made the trade even, and getting Wiggins allowed Flip to get acquainted with his agent Bill Duffy.

I was against the Thad part of the Love deal at first and just wanted the MIA first. But I guess it turned out OK because it resulted in KG, who I think can still be dominant for 15-20 minutes a night.
