For Furkan sakes

If the Wolves keep it, Korkmaz would be an impressive addition to their abundance of riches. He's a prototypical NBA 2-guard who can both slash to the basket and shoot the 3. He's shooting 40 percent from deep in Euroleague play and 48 percent in the Turkish League.
6-6 200lbs
Good
-shooter with range
-Good ball handler, can play the 1 and the 2
-Playing at a very high level for such a young age
Negatives
-Needs to add strength

This draft sucks, but I'd take Diallo if he's available. He's the kind of energy guy who's gonna have a place in this league and that's exactly what we need in the front-court right now. He's also Dieng insurance if the market decides to overpay him a lot. A high energy rebounder and shot blocker sounds perfect next to Towns.

I think this draft could end up pretty good, It is deep with bigmen. We have to go that route if (when)we keep our pick. Knowing our luck we will end up with the first pick and need to draft Simmons and have to live with a team of Rubio/LaVIne/Wiggins/Simmons/Towns for the next 8-10 years.

Man that just sounds terrible. I don't know how I could live with that result. All those titles would just be a drag.

I just hope Philly loses the lottery again, but I'm afraid the Lakers will be right behind us in young talent, if not equal to us if they land Simmons.

Not to mention the high end free agent they are likely to bring in with all their Kobe cap savings. I'm concerned about this too. If they get Simmons to go along with someone like Durant, that rebuild will be over in short order.

Yep, and Byron Scott will soon be replaced by a better coach, maybe JVG and others are thinking that situation could be better.

The Lakers traded away their pick in the Nash trade.

There is some minimal protection on it. They could keep it if they finish in the top 3 of the lottery

it is top 3 protected for 2016 and 2017, completely unprotected in 2018 .. if they are 29th they have 20perc chance to land number 1 (and Simmons) and about 48 perc chance to lose pick
