Thanks for putting this together in one easy-to-find spot.

I don't see anything that pops out here. We already knew KAT was putting up impressive numbers for a 19/20-year old rookie, so this just confirms it. He may be our best player as soon as next year.

We've discussed before about how most advanced stats don't really like Wiggins. If you are a fairly inefficient wing scorer that doesn't do much else from a box score perspective, Win Shares will not like you very much. It is what it is with Wiggins. In his defense, RPM seems to underrate him badly. I haven't figured that one out yet.

Here is my one takeaway: Bjelica needs more minutes.

I agree. Bjelica needs more minutes. And I'll add that Kmart needs less minutes.
It also shows improvement for Zach and Payne who along with AB last year were competing for league worst in RPM.

Notice the guy that should be taking Martin's minutes Bazz is below Martin in these stats and that confirms what I have seen on the court because Martin's defense has been better than Bazz and Bazz just hasn't played well enough to force his way into more minutes even though he has been put in a tough situation. It would be nice if both guys got going but more of us would like to see the Bazz we saw last night more often.

Agreed on the first point for sure. Thanks!

One thing that does stand out for me is 39 year old KG's real plus-minus leading the team. He's clearly not the player he once was, and his boxscores don't pop out, but in ways that are obvious when you watch the game, he continues to find ways to impact the game in a positive way. Offensively he sets solid picks, passes the ball pretty well, and takes pretty much only good shots and still has a bit of range. His defense is still very good for us, in part because of his communication, which helps us on both sides of the ball. Another intangible is that he generally sets a competitive tone for the team, and he does so while putting the team before himself.

Also, this dunk must have counted for something, right? (scroll to the bottom)

True, that is pretty impressive, although I'm a bit more suspicious of the RPM stat with only a few games of data, and in KG's case, he plays exclusively with the rest of the starters.

That being said, there is no question he's still a net positive on the floor, regardless of the mentoring angle.
