I see the Bulls really miss your guy this year, best record in the East.

Don't the Bulls still have All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol surrounded by Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic, Joakim Noah, Tony Snell and Doug McDermott? Yeah, the personnel didn't change much so why would their results?

Well first, they weren't tops in the East last year. And 2nd, since you think Thibs is the second coming of Red Auerbach, shouldn't the results be worse?

Hoiberg is no slouch and someone many of us would have also loved as a head coach for the Wolves.
My guess is that the Bulls players didn't just completely forget everything they learned under Thibs. He was a good coach for a good number of years there.

Care to elaborate, otherwise I'll interpret that as "great point, Q!"

I accept your point. but it doesn't inspire a positive or negative response from me.

Re: Thibs Fans
I don't understand the point of this thread. Has anybody claimed the Bulls would struggle without Thibodeau?
By the way, Chicago is 11 - 6. They were also 11 - 6 last season at this time.
[Note: And wasn't everybody here praising Hoiberg as a probably good NBA coach just a few months ago? It's not like Chicago is playing without a coach.]
