Vet PG who do you want?

"You don't want to put the pressure on the young guys so much," Saunders said. "Hey, listen, we're always looking to upgrade, so it could happen. It's a possibility."

So Flip is now considering a vet PG. Who do you want that's available or do you want to roll with Brown or just roll with Rubio Lavine Tyus?

Andre Miller would be amazing. I can't imagine he would come here though. I would think he would rather sign with Karl and the Kings. I would be thrilled to get him but it's highly doubtful.

My guy that might be more likely is Sergio Rodrigez. I've always thought he was at the wry least a pretty good backup and I doubt that has changed with him playing in Europe for a few years. Could he be a guy we get because we have the most money leftover like what happened with Mo last year?

Luke if he ends up playing another season would be fine. If he can still play he would be solid enough. I'd probably be a little conflicted if we signed him of whether I thought I would rather have Luke or just keep Brown.

Jason Terry comes to mind...

Aging vet to compete with Tyus. Can play both guard positions. KG connection.

I am not sure we can afford Sergio, but there is the Rubio connection...

Since they already brought back KG, now they need to bring back Cassell. I want to see if he can still do his "Big Balls" dance without breaking his hip.

Yeah I think you may be right about not affording Sergio. He has an affordable buyout but you would think he has a nice contract over there and I would think he would only leave if he got some fairly decent money and at least a top backup role. Maybe playing with Rubio and all the international players plus playing in a PG friendly system would intrigue him. Ok yeah I doubt it too.

I love me some Professor Andre Miller. But he's pretty long in the tooth.

Jason Terry isn't young. But I think he might have more to offer at this point.

The answer is obvious. We get Marbury to come back from China.

What about going for another young PG like Shabazz Napier in Miami. This team is loading up for a push in the East and we have some assets available for them if needed. They could use a PF and with Dragic, Chalmers....Napier falls third deep again. How about a trade of Bennett for Napier?

I brought up Andre Miller for this team 3 years ago and he was to old back then. Lol
having said that I'd be okay with him now.. I'd like to see a backup pg with a Lil more scoring abilith to even out the position a bit and give the second unit some extra punch.
