Kevin Freaking Love

Post by worldK »

I cant say enough how much respect i have for love. That guy took a beating tonight and he got up each and every time.. That fall where he bounces his head of the floor, i dont know ho got up from that but he did and proceed to play the rest of the game and make key plays. That guy is tough as nails.

If you question love's leadershp, then all you need to do is watch this game, he led by example tonight. He played hurt and was in there at the end because he is the best player by far of the team.

Im glad we have love on the team and flip and company better make sure to build a winning team behind love.

Indeed he has been doper. If you watch the game after his fall, he proceeded to make his fts, have the offense go tru him, make some great passes, collared tough rebounds, make outlet passes and try his best to run and play d despite not walking right and his back clearly aching. Thats all heart, tougness and effort tight there.

Kevin is a superstar and it would be a shame if we cant build a winning team around him and let him leave. Guys like kevin love dont walk in the door often if ever, keep him at all cost and flip better show more than he has shown so far.

Love? Leadership? Hmmmm... I thought he was a poor leader?

Jim Rome voice: Kevin's been phe-nominal. Can't say it enough how utterly fan-tasticle he's been this season.

I can't stand Rome, by the way. Anyways...

I missed tonight's game, but from what I've read on here, he took a physical beating and still got the job done. That's what superstars do. Yes, he's a superstar. Top-five player in the NBA. LeBron, Durant, CP3, George and Love. You'd have a tough task arguing for someone to replace Love in that five.

Love has really taken a huge step forward this season - doing more facilitating, playing better, tougher defense and never taking any plays off. Yes, he's an NBA star and the best PF in the game.

For those who miss the game, you should try rewatching the game. Love played excellent and showed how togh he is. Damn, he took a beating in there. Got scratch up in the 1st half, took shots to the head and body and that fall late in the 4th was simply nasty. You could hear the 'thud' when he bounces his head off the floor after landing flat on his tailbone/lower back. Wes johnson, who was guarding him had a reaction after the fall that he knew it was very bad.

amazingly, he got back up. stayed in the game, made his fts. had the offense run tru him, make crisp passes to cutting teammates, got tough rebounds and made his outlet pass to brewer, who blew the dunk.

He was hurt pretty bad, wasnt walking or running well but gutted it out. A true warrior.

I hope Love us OK. We might find out that his tail bone is fractured. Hope not, but I saw the replay of his fall and it was nasty.

The sheer loudness of the fall suggested he landed on a lot of surface area, which is ideal for avoiding serious injury. I'm guessing he'll be sore as hell for a few days but won't suffer any long term consequences.
