So it begins. Brooklyn starting to clear cap space. They just cleared 16 mil with that deal and got a versatile young player. Two picks though doesn't bode well for clearing Wiggins or Gourgi. Tough pill, they must be super confident in their ability to sign free agents.

Net clearing capspace. Solid move by Sean Marks. Taurean Prince is probably all ready better than any player they could get with the 17th pick. They also still have the 27th and 31st picks in this years draft.

I know the league is ran differently now in terms of cap management/strategy, but love this move for ATL, the wolves have never made a move like this in their losing years. We've been playing checkers while most teams are playing chess. Depressing. I like the trade for Brooklyn also

Yes. The Nets set themselves up to trade picks for cap-clearing purposes by amassing enough picks to still have picks they can use themselves. That's what good organizations do because it's important to continue to have 1st round picks to bring in new talent or facilitate trades. The Wolves don't have excess picks. So we aren't in a good position to clear space by dealing Gorgui or Wiggins.

Nets might just drop dlo, then go after 2 max guys like Irving and butler. I think Durant's 35% increase makes him unlikely and the dreams of ad are gone.

Wolves in talks with the Pelicans for Anthony Davis. Andrew Wiggins is the target they want.

Looks like Irving signing with the Nets is getting closer. He just fired his agent and signed with the sports agency founded by Jay Z's .

I think they go after Jimmy with KD of the table.

Good chance that DLO just doesnt get matched, so they can open up that spot for jimmy or Tobias Harris. I dont think the Wolves have what it takes to get a S+T deal with the Nets while another team with capspace can just make a $$ offer

You're either really early, or really late with your April fool's jokes!
