If you though Tyus Jones was a poor 3pt shooter then you're gonna be even more disappointed in Wallace. This signing doesn't make sense.

Need PG depth. I'm guessing the plan is Napier will be the backup. Wallace 3rd stringer. And maybe a 2-way guy

Hopefully he rarely sees the court. He can defend, but that's about it.

Yes. Rosas vision finally coming into focus. He's shooting for a rebuild and losing KAT.

I thought about putting him in my cheap project PG thread but honestly wasn't really sure if he is a PG. of course really a number of guys that are intriguing really aren't PGs either. Wallace is basically the same size and Culver but has some handles is a pretty good athlete and plays defense. The Wolves are going with guys that can play multiple positions and switching everything and Wallace fit that. He is basically MCW except he actually plays the defense you would expect a guy of those dimensions to be able to play. The upside of claiming him (compared to other options) is he already has a cheap contract and it's not guaranteed. I'm not thrilled or anything but this team does need defenders and I think he does give you something on that end.

One question: If Teague gets injured are we happy with Napier starting and Wallace playing back up?

That does scare me a little.

Don't love it but this is more than likely not a playoff team. How annoying it is, it's the long game, paying tyus 9 mil dosen't move he needle
