GDT: Minnesota at Miami (Preseason)

Post by Camden [enjin:6601484] »

Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, and D'Angelo Russell are inactive tonight for Minnesota. None of them need to play and risk injury tonight, though I selfishly would have liked to see the latter two and their connection in a game setting. My assumption is that Gobert is being given more rest after a long EuroBasket run, and there's little reason to play Russell in preseason if Gobert is sitting out.

I didn't see anything that noted Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, or any other Wolves player sitting out so there's still plenty of reason to tune in tonight. I'm excited to see this improved passing ability from Edwards that I've read about, as well as his added muscle gains, and McDaniels overall development offensively.

Most importantly, "Wolves back!" I'm just happy the season is finally here even if it's preseason.

Yup. Rather anti-climatic with KAT and Gobert not playing. But it's Wolves basketball, so I am still happy!

Great start for Mcdaniels and I'm really going to enjoy Anderson, so many little things he does

Yeah, I really like that Slo-Mo can grab defensive rebounds and push in transition. That's definitely a nice addition and will prove to be beneficial.

Jaden looks really smooth with the basketball early. J-Mac is still disruptive defensively. That's a really good development building off of last year.

Nathan Knight is going to make this roster on effort and rebounding alone.

I hope Forbes is in the rotation ahead of Rivers.

Loving watch Nowell and Edwards playing together. Two guys who can create their own shot.

Agreed! Although he already made the roster, including some guaranteed dollars...
