By my count, the Minnesota Timberwolves will have 16 nationally broadcasted games -- six on ESPN, six on NBA TV, and four on TNT.
Additionally, they'll get to begin the year with seven games that they should be favored in, which is potentially a really big deal as they'll likely have some growing pains to start the year. It's likely they'll need a little time to gel and work through mistakes and different rotations. The good news is that they should be able to do that while still picking up some wins in a soft spot in the schedule.
They start the season against Oklahoma City (twice), Utah (sandwiched between OKC games), San Antonio (thrice), and the Los Angeles Lakers to end October.

Re: 2022-23 NBA Schedule Released
This is an interesting start to the season for sure. The first thing that came to mind is it is a classic damned if you do/damned if you don't situation. If the Wolves come out and win most or all of them the national detractors will say its just a matter of playing bad teams. If they start less than stellar it will open up the conversations about how the Gobert move was a mistake.
Hopefully the reality will be the Wolves stifling defense smothering these teams.

Re: 2022-23 NBA Schedule Released
The Minnesota Timberwolves released this last week and I don't want it to get lost in the shuffle for those that might be able to attend. They're having an open practice October 1st and admission is complimentary. I would definitely go if I resided in the state as it sounds like a great opportunity to see the new team together and what a Chris Finch practice looks like. If any of you do decide to go, I know I would be interested in what you observed.

Bumping this thread in the event someone wanted to go to the Timberwolves event/practice tomorrow (in the comment above) and were unaware of the details.

I went to the Nebraska Basketball version of this last night. Freshman Sam Hoiberg is my spirit animal.

I really wish I was going to the scrimmage, but I decided not to risk it as I am just coming off the 1st of two cataract surgeries... :-(
