Interesting. Marc Lore is a billionaire so this is a real deal. I think he's a NY guy, so that reduces the chances of moving the franchise, don't you think? I think this is good news. My only concern is Glen may not be allowed under the terms to bring in a 3rd big contract that will put them into the lux. Might put some limitations on off-season moves

I can't see them moving the team until after Glen dies.

If they did, I can't even be mad. The biggest problem with Glen is that there were only 2 options as a fan: watch a bad team or have no team at all. With new ownership, there's a slight chance that competence may be a plan C. Anything is better than this setup. This isn't healthy.

A-Rod almost bought the Mets and there was a big debate here over who should buy the team: A-Rod or Cohen. Fans here ultimately wanted Cohen more because he had way more money and has been a big Mets fan who would spend immediately.

If he keeps the team here and things change, finally it will stop feeling like watching a G-League team. If they move, yeah it'll suck, but the burden of having to deal with this subpar product will be lifted. The only way this can backfire is if Glen gets cold feet... again.

Alex Rodriguez. Former Seattle Mariner. I've been one on this board relatively confident the Wolves won't move. But I'm having my doubts. Settle wants the NBA back and I see Alex Rodriguez returning to Seattle as the conquering hero who brings back an NBA franchise to his former home. Otherwise I don't understand why he'd be part of owning an NBA team. He's not the money guy. Instead he's partnering with a billionaire to obtain partial ownership over an NBA franchise. Why would he be interested in owning a team based on Minnesota where he has absolutely no connection?

Apparently, Glen is keeping full control of the team for the next 2.5 years. That tells me Glen knows they're leaving for Seattle. So he wants a couple more years to enjoy his team here in his home state.

I was about to suggest PED's {lol}

Seriously, SEA/TAC is essentially the same size as M/SP. And if they go there, they go from having the their own arena (albeit older) to sharing an arena with a mythical sea creature.

I suggest that whomever owns the Wolves to just go ahead and make it work instead of looking for some easy way out.
