Thibs was a bit of a paradox in that he's known as this defensive guru, yet would be infatuated by shot-creating guards that didn't defend. Plus he never really held KAT or Wiggins accountable for poor defense, despite his sideline bellowing. I mean, did he ever bench either one of them to send a message? Instead, he'd just yell. Eventually people just tune you out if there is no substance behind your imploring.
