Next 10 Games - Prince + 9
Next 10 Games - Prince + 9
These next 10 games, beginning with Prince night against the Blazers, will be critical to where the Wolves end up this season. 8 of these next 10 will be at home and the two road games are both winnable - one against a good but not great Nets team and the other against the Cavs, probably the worst team in the League. Admittedly, there are a number of tough home games, including games against the Blazers, Nuggets, Rockets and Celtics. But all 10 games are winnable and winning 8 of the next 10 is not unreasonable.

I worry about our rebounding because those are sime big teams coming up. Without rose, thibbs didn't use up alot of minutes with the 2 pg line ups, and we ended up outrebounding the pelicans.
I love that kat is defending and wiggins is increasing his "do shit" stats. But rebounding as a team is still worrisome.

Yeah it is, c-c, but I also noticed that the new look Wolves outrebounded the Pelicans who are 4th in the league in rebounding. I worry about our wings and rebounds and would have especially worried if JRich had come here for Butler, but Cov looked like a real warrior on the defensive boards and our wings ended up with 13 boards. I don't worry about KAT, so if our wings can keep rebounding like that, we may find that we are at least average in rebounding.

Yes, I think our defensive rebounding improves. It may still not be great, but we should hopefully get out of league-worst.
Career Def. Reb %
Butler = 11.6% vs. Covington = 16.9%
Tolliver = 14.7% vs. Saric = 18.3%

Is anyone else finding right now to be one of the more enjoyable periods of being a Wolves fan? To get through that Butler bullshit but still feel like we have something legit to cheer for is huge. In the past that would have destroyed us, but I actually think we are way better set long term than we were two years ago.

I'm taking a zen approach to the team for now....one game at a time, no expectations. Just compete and grow together.

That's a pretty good way to go.
