Considering they haven't had a practice, yet... I would lay higher odds on both coming off the bench versus both starting. Although I will be surprised if Covington does not start.

Saric indicated a desire to start, but Thibs will likely want Gibson starting next to KAT...especially since Saric hasn't practiced with the Wolves yet. I'm flying back from MoBay later in the day, and looking forward to following the 76ers and Wolves games online on the plane. A Sixers loss and a Wolves win would go a long way toward assuaging my pain in returning to cold and snow!

Yeah, not sure who will be starting tonight or if we should read into it too much given we've got some guys banged up and RoCo and Saric are brand new. I do think it ultimately makes sense to start both of these guys together since they have played with each other as starters. The spacing is going to be so much better. Defense is where the problems remain, but how much worse can it get? We're currently ranked dead last in the NBA.

Dane Moore brought up the net rating of Covington and Saric playing together in Philly last year. Short story it was VERY good.

Some people around the internets have been keying into Saric saying he prefers starting. He was asked what he preferred and he said he preferred to start. Seemed like an honest answer and he also said he would do whatever the coaches asked. How many guys are like I prefer to come off the bench? lol Personally at some point it makes sense to start him and my guess is eventually that will happen. Whether its tonight or not id more up in the air and I'm kinda ok if Saric doesn't start today.

That's encouraging, but I don't want to place too much weight on their contribution to Philly's success. The straw that stirs the drink, especially defensively, for that Philly team is Embiid. He is a game changer and RoCo/Homie were complementary pieces. Unfortunately KAT does not impact the game the way Emiid does.

The next stretch of 4 games is going to be brutal. As much as id like to see the team go on a run, were going to have to temper expectations.

Teague and wiggins are questionable again. With covington on board and rose being rose, i wouldnt be surprised thi see wiggs and teague sit until 100%.

I believe there was actually some numbers without Embiid as well...remember he did sit some games. I mean I agree with you but it's interesting/encouraging. I'd argue that Towns does impact the offensive end like Embiid does. It's the other end... :)
