Please keep the starting 5 intact during the off-season (Lavinew, not Rush). Please bundle our draft choice for some bench help.
Please don't think for a minute that 20 year olds can play in this league, but recognize that we need some stability for these guys to improve.
Please respect Ricky, without him we would be even more awful

I don't think it's crazy. But I would like us to address our situation at the 4. What makes you think Belly or Dieng is the answer there? I'm not trying to be insulting but really want to know what you see there for the future.

Re: How Crazy is This?
I wouldn't mind keeping the starting 5, keeping our high draft pick and using a good chunk of cap space on productive bench players
Re: How Crazy is This?
I have no issue with keeping the starting five, though I'm open to moving one or two to a bench role if the right players are available.
Regarding 20 year olds not winning in this league the "kids" were all 22 this season I believe, let's not ignore that they're all either two or three year vets at this point.
Ricky certainly earned respect with his play the final couple months of this season! From my perspective that's a double bonus, either he stays on and, fingers crossed, continues to play like he did late, or his trade value has increased to the point where trading him could be a part of making this team better. From my perspective this team has one absolutely untradable asset in KAT, and a second in Wig that would require another team to virtually mortgage their future to get him. Every other player on the roster including Rubio can be had in a deal that improves this team. I'm not saying I want him traded, just that I'm very open to it at this point.

Re: How Crazy is This?
The starting 5 just isn't good enough defensively to keep together for a 3rd straight year. The dumpster has been on fire for two straight years. It's not getting put out with the same 5. We need a better defender next to Towns and we should get one on the wing to play next to Wiggins and Lavine.
Re: How Crazy is This?
Towns is still 21 and just put up 25/12 on a plenty effiecient 54% shooting. Kahns wants a better defender next to Towns...how about Towns becomes a good defender himself? I think it happens over time and I think most people agree that we need either a starter at PF or a compliment as a fringe starter to Dieng at the very least.
I think all this thread is saying don't do anything drastic keep some continuity and add to the roster. I don't think anyone would disagree with that it's just how far (likely meaning $$$) some people will go to add vet/s to this team. I'm. I'm not favor of trading the draft pick to do that.
