Now that D Wade is bought out from Chicago I see the top two landing spots being the wolves (Butler connection) or the Cavs (Lebron connection)
Should we go get him?
DWade is freed. Do the wolves go get him?

Not a great fit because he's yet another wing with a balky jump shot. I would prefer him as our backup SG over Crawford for sure though.

The obviously answer is yes, you go get him. Wade has always been one of my favorite players to watch. He is obviously not the player he once was, but he would add another grizzled vet that, if willing to accept role, would be instrumental in delivering team success this year. Shooting be damned, he would certainly be a plus asset to this ball club.
That being said, I don't believe he will consider the Wolves due to the roster makeup. Cleveland is simply a much better landing spot if he wants serious minutes. He will get a ton of minutes on a top team in the East. There is just a much easier road to get to championship if he goes to Cleveland. Clippers could really use him as well. And why not the thunder? He would be a great fit there as well. I just think there are several teams that make more sense than Wolves at the moment.

He's still better than most give him credit for, but a bad match for us. We need a defender, first and foremost.

This. My only addition is that you could seriously just play him minutes at PG and the Cavs may end up doing that if they get him there. The guy can absolutely still play.

It's gotta be Cleveland, right? LeBron is basically his best friend, they've got minutes at the 2 spot for him, and that team is almost certainly going to the ECF, so it gives him another shot at a ring. Just makes too much sense not to happen.
