Re: Greg Smith
He was OK when he was with the Rockets. 25-years old. Been in and out of the NBA. This is sort of a "meh" signing, IMO.
Re: Greg Smith
Classic fringe NBA big that knows how to play the game but isn't really a good enough athlete or skilled enough to stick around. He gives the Wolves the type of player they need a strong type that's at least a solid rebounder. He can score around the basket. He won't wow you but for a 10 day type to add before you decide who you may really want the rest of the season when you know who is available it isn't too bad.

Re: Greg Smith
I'm fine with this for a 10-day deal. He certainly seems like a better option than Chris Copeland. I like the fact he's a big, strong body that can hopefully hold his ground in the paint.
Tough to get real excited about someone like this, but he may be reasonably productive over short stints against other bench bigs.

Also he oddly looks a lot like Sebastian Telfair.

Re: Greg Smith
Also....largest hand size ever recorded at an NBA combine. Or may be that's outdated info at this point. Perhaps he can lend his hands to Wiggins once his 10-day contract is up?
Re: Greg Smith
Yeah, the only interesting aspect is the insight we might glean should he get playing time over Payne...

Re: Greg Smith
Meh. Would rather they signed some sort of side show attraction i.e. 7'-5" Sim Bhullar. I'd even liked Anthony Bennett for no other reason than it makes for great forum activity!
Re: Greg Smith
OK signing for a 10/day deal. I think he gets aying time ahead of payne.

I like the signing. It is better than nothing.
