Kevin Martin Buyout
AP guy Jon Krawczynski says talks are continuing to buyout Martin with the Spurs as the most likely landing spot. Andre is already headed to the Spurs. It would be a really nice move IMO to get rid of that contract for next year. Nobody is going to give us anything of value for him after the season.

I would be curious who the spurs cut and look into signing them

We're not really getting rid of his contract for next year, though. We get the roster spot, but we still take a cap hit from buying him out. How big the hit is will be determined by the details of the buyout. I just don't see why it's so necessary to dump the guy right now.
Notice how there was interest from teams in Martin and even Miller, but they likely didn't express their interest knowing the lowly Wolves would just cut them loose and they could be had for nothing. Difference between good franchises and bad.
Re: Kevin Martin Buyout
I'm fine with cutting him assuming he gives enough ground on the buyout, otherwise let him ride out the season, and potentially much of next on the bench in street clothes.

I don't buy him out unless he leaves all of his option on the table and only takes what he's scheduled to make the rest of this season. Otherwise let him rot on the bench and opt in if he wants. It'll be his own fault he's still here and not playing.

Bingo.
Ditto. How nice it would be to have a front office that isn't easy pickings for every other NBA organization.

Deja Vu
No joke Reading this thread reminds me I swear I had a dream months ago where I was reading this forum and it was posted Martin was going to the Spurs.
