Wolves on a roll. Join the excitement!

Post by AbeVigodaLive »

The average NBA team scores 101 ppg.

The Wolves, with two of the most athletic wings in the game, a possible superstar center who can hit 3s (all only 20 years old) and one of the league's most creative passers...

...hasn't reached 100 points in 7 straight games. They haven't reached 103 points in 13 games (and only did that in an OT loss).

I don't know exactly what's in store with this team, but I do know the journey is fun and exciting at the moment.

But wait, some people on here are telling me that our offense is fine. I'm confused.

The O-line is fine, assuming your definition of fine is the same as my definition of stinking pile of refuse.

*And now I'm confused, this isn't a Vikings thread.

I'm less concerned with our offense than our defense. Our young guys can improve their scoring more easily than their defense.

8 straight games without 100 points.

Even in a game where the team shot 53.%. The pace was near league low levels though.

Oh... and the Wolves let the 29th best shooting team shoot 55% from the field.

[Note: The Wolves took 5 three pointers. Total.]

Right, and prior to that we scored 100 or more points in 8 out of 9 games (we scored 99 points in the other game). Of course, we weren't defending for shit during that time. So now we aren't defending AND we aren't scoring. Yay!

Fun with numbers... if you had to place a bet with somebody for the next Wolves game, put money on the Wolves scoring between 99 and 102 points.

At one point, they scored between those numbers for 7 straight games (regulation). A few games before that... they scored between 99 and 101 points in 4 straight games.

When you say they're on a roll can you by chance tell us how far down the hill they've gone so far, or more importantly, how much further is left until they hit bottom?
