Nba.com is always perceptive enough to know that we NBA fans need something to chew on in August, so they release the annual rookie survey. This gets ripped often in this forum, but I maintain that these are the rookies' peers who have played against each other for years so there is some validity.
The way the rookies perceive Kris Dunn is beyond any of our wildest expectations. He finishes first in ROY, best defender, best playmaker and funniest rookie (that surprised me...he seems so serious to me), and finishes second in who will have the best career!
I think most of us here don't think he will get the minutes to challenge for ROY, but it certainly is heartening to know how highly his peers think of him.
Rookie Survey
Re: Rookie Survey
Very interesting. Thanks for posting. What I find most interesting is the favorite player results with Durant topping the list at almost 30% and LeBron tied with Mello and Westbrook at only 9.4%. I'd love to know more about the thinking behind the numbers. What accounts for LeBron's relatively low standing among these rookies?
