Our improved bench has got me opTIMistic for the season

While I think the maturation of our young core and Thibs coaching are great reasons for optimism. I think the improved bench play is just as important. It seemed so many games were lost last year when the bench came in and let our leads dissipate. Now, I see the bench as a big strength. Brandon Rush is just the kind of shooter we needed and reportedly he is in better health and we might see glimpses of the 3 and D stud he used to be. Dunn can run an offense and defend much better than our backups did last year. Belly looks to be in great shape and confident and looks to be another very good shooter. Cole is just the kind of big that we need on the second unit. Tyus, Bazz and Hill can fill needs and give us depth.
