Rubio camp pushing for trade?

Post by KiwiMatt »

Darren Wolfson: .@Chad Ford on Rubio today: "His camp has been pushing for a trade for a while." Me: not as much after 4/$55M.

Thoughts?

I love Ricky but he isn't untouchable for me anymore. The problem is I don't love the idea of putting a rookie in charge of the offense right now. I would want an experienced PG back. Probably best to keep him for now. Besides, it's Ricky's camp that wants him moved. I think l believe Ricky wants to be here

Doogie indicated that this might have been the case in previous years, but no so much now that Rubio has his big contract.

There was always BS being spewed by the media regarding Rubio and then all the Love rumors with the Lakers. Controversy and drama sells.

I don't think there's a chance that Rubio's traded either...but hypothetically, NYK offers Flip #4 for Rubio. Take it?

As much as im a fan of rubio, it would be a definite yes. You wont ever get a better offer than that for him.

Ok, we take Mudiay. Are we better at the position?

I know its a hypothetical, but why wouldn't the Knicks just draft Mudiay? No injury history with him

Yeah, not a prayer the Knicks do that deal. And I love when mediocre players and/or agents push for trades. Funny.
