Even though I'm not sure the Wolves ever gave Alexey enough of a shot at PG, we're better off with Mo as backup. Still, it's nice to see him go off in his first game as a Sixer. 18-5-3 and no TO's in 24 minutes. He'll definitely get a chance there to back up MCW, although they started Tony Wroten at PG last night.

LMaM had a DNP-cd.

The Lion stunk again for Sac-Town.

Kevin love and lebron loss in their home opener to the knicks(who were whipped by the bulls the night before)

Love had his given double double of 19-14. Had 4 assist and made 3 threes. The cavs are going to be fine but they have big holes in their team.

For one, they have Zero rim protectors and a shallow bench. They played 9 guys in their home opener. The 4 guys that were active and got dnp are guys that should be inactive 14th-15th roster spot players.

Of the 9 that played, you have mike miller who cant handle regular rotation mins anymore. He needs rest between games and is a situational player now. Marion is a player that plays and look better when he gets good min's(24min+). If he is going to be a 10 min player for them, he isnt going to be much effective. Tristan is an energy guy that doesnt do anything well, not your ideal 6th man. Dellanova is their backup pg, if kyrie goes down, they are in trouible. Who is their perimeter stopper? They have serious holes in their team.

So Love got a double double, but the bench only scored 12 points and his team lost at home to the lowly Knicks (who were playing the second game of a BTB).

Seems like I've heard this song before...

Our other malcontent, JJ, had more success in his initial game in Dallas...4-4-3 in 19 minutes as they routed Utah.

I don't know why, but I'm cheering for Alexei more than any other ex-Wolf. Nice start for him tonight with 6 points and 5 assists in his first 8 minutes.
