Radial head fracture on the right elbow. He's going to be re-evaluated in a few days.
The injury bug just refuses to let the wolves alone.

Sucks for Turiaf, but he can still be a voice in Dieng's ear, which is part of the reason we brought him in. He'll come back and contribute hopefully. I expect to see more D-Will with Turiaf being out.

That stinks. As Cam says, we'll see a lot more D-Will at 4 and Love at the 5. And for Dieng, it's baptism by fire.

Really a shame...I'm a big Turiaf supporter. I really liked his rebounding and defense off the bench, and also that it gave us a chance to bring Dieng slowly along. Anyone who watched the game last night had to know that either an arm or an elbow was broken.
But all in all, this is not tragic. Ronny will play a Madsen cheerleader role while he heals, and also act like another coach for Dieng, which is bound to aid his development. What we lose in basketball acumen, we at least gain back partially in rim protection.
I agree with the consensus here that Rick will pick his spots to go small with Love at center, too, giving The Lion more chances to prove himself. Unfortunately, if Dieng worries Adelman, it also may result in Pek getting more minutes than he should. Let's hope not.
I also wonder if Flip makes a move to pick up another big with Turiaf out so long. I assume Chris Johnson is still out there, and he is the obvious choice. Does anyone know how that works if we bring him back? Have we already bought out his contract, and now would have to offer an additional league minimum short-term contract on top of that? Too bad, but I would be in favor, just to ensure Pek doesn't get overused.

Could we drop someone and get Marcus Camby? He just got cut by the Rockets.

39 years old, and has a torn plantars fasciitis. Could be out a long time, so not an option. Anyone else other than CJ?

Pretty sure PF/C Chris Wilcox is still available. Liked what he brought to Boston. Wouldn't mind giving him a look if he still wants to play.

D-Will for Asik! Lmao kidding guys.
I've always liked Jordan Hill, though. Just don't think we could trade for him. I do think he's in D'Antoni's doghouse, however. Didn't get into the game last night until mid-3rd quarter.

3-6 weeks, just ride it out. If Dieng shows and proves, this is a good time to do it.

We don't need to make any moves. He won't be out that long and this will be good for Dieng who is a big part of our future.
