Corey Brewer Wingspan-Gate

Yes, the controversy about Corey's length continues, with the flames being fanned today by none other than our intrepid reporter Jerry Zgoda. In his article in this morning's StarTrib, Jerry says about Corey "He used his determination and long arms against Durant all night..." But wait, Lipoli has told us repeatedly that Corey has unusually short arms, but Zgoda is saying the opposite. Is there bad blood between Zgoda and Lipoli? Is Jerry trying to intentionally antagonize our stellar board contributor?
I couldn't let this controversy simmer out there, so I set out to do my own research. I went to draftexpress.com and compared Corey's length data to another seemingly average 6'8" forward, Dante Cunningham. Here are the results:
Wingspan Standing reach
Corey 6'8 1/4" 8'7"
Dante 6'11" 8'10.5"
There you have it. Dante does not appear to be a freak of nature, but his wingspan exceeds Corey's by 2 3/4 ", and his standing reach is greater by 3 1/2". These differences are not insignificant. The only conclusion is that Corey does indeed have short arms. Tally: Lipoli 1, Zgoda 0!
All kidding aside, this further demonstrates the value of this board. Sometimes we like to quote Zgoda or some other pundit, but the truth is there is generally more wisdom on this board than in Jerry's column. Keep up the great work, guys!
P.S. I am a great admirer of Corey's, and respect how he overcomes his physical shortcomings with relentless determination to become a solid defender.
