Top big men in the league this month

Post by markkbu [enjin:6588958] »

Jan stats for a number of people

PPG............FG%........eFG%....RPG......APG......BPG
21.9.............573...........573........10.3......2.8.........0.4....D Lee
25.9.............474...........474........13........2.1.........1.5.....D Cousins
26................497...........497.......12.8......2.9.........1.5.....L Aldridge
25.2.............538...........529........9.1.......4.6..........0.6....B Griffin
20.3.............512...........512.......11.8.........5..........1.6....P Gasol
20.9.............563...........563........9.3.......1.1..........1.......N Pek
20.7.............418...........491.......10.7.......3.3.........0.8.....K Love
18.3.............566...........566.......10.3......1.8.........1.8......D Howard
20.5.............526...........526.......10.........2.5..........0.8.... A Jefferson
21.5.............561........,.561........10.4.......1...........2.4......A Davis

The point of this is, when our top 5 player is playing like a top 10 big man, our team will probably struggle like it has this month.

This is not placing our recent struggles on Love's shoulders. It does play a part in it, IMHO.

Note: this is not including the likes of J Noah (scoring), C Anthony (position), K Durant (position), D Jordan (scoring), A Drummond (scoring) or S. Ibaka (scoring) in an attempt to keep the list strictly high scoring and rebounding big men.

Remember when much of the previous espn board thought it smart to pass up Cousins ability for the poor prospect, but level-headed Wes Johnson? That didn't turn out so well.

You're vastly underestimating the value of a good smile.
