Blow it up.

Post by twolf2124 [enjin:6650829] »

We clearly are not on a track to contend for a championship, so what is the point of being mediocre? Get another mediocre draft pick? As much as I love Kevin Love, its time to get something of value for him before it is too late. Too many mistakes were made when we had the opportunity to put great players around Love (can you imagine a core of love, curry, cousins with rubio and pek as trading assets? You think OKC would have said no to a Pek/Rubio for Harden deal?!). Anyway, we missed our opportunity to rebuild properly, and now we just have to do it again, as much as that sucks its the only option. The ONLY prayer this team has of becoming great is if Rubio becomes a legitimate scoring threat, which I don't see happening.

Season ain't over yet. The earliest we should think about blowing things up is before the draft this offseason. In the meantime, they need to make some changes and try to soldier on this season with their existing core guys.

I agree that you don't move K. Love in season because you probably don't get as much for him as you do in the off season. However you can start blowing up the rest of it, Budinger, Martin, Brewer, JJ, a coach that isn't pissed off on the sidelines........blow that part of the team up.
