Wolves need change, this group of players has extremely weak chemistry and is really bad defensively. Borderline worst pick and roll defense I have ever seen. I want change so bad, something needs to change! To continue with the same starters is idiotic, please Rick change something! Please Flip make a roster move!
The Turiaf, Cunningham, Mbah a Moute, Martin, JJ line up at least showed heart. Defenders that move around the floor on offense with JJ trying to create and Martin's instant offense actually seem's like a logical 2nd unit.
How many more games can Flip and Rick really expect the fans to put up with this lack of effort?
It almost seems like they are ok with losing and more focused on complaining to refs about non-calls than playing hard and earning wins.
No change, No wins, No effort........screw it as fans we should just tune out until change is made.

Well, tonight they actually played some decent defense. And most of it happened while Mbah Moute was on the floor. If anyone ever wanted to see the contrast defensively between a gambling, energy defender versus a stout, "sticky" defender, tonight was the night. Derozan was absolutely miserable out there when Luc was guarding him.
So one change that may need to be made is inserting Luc into the starting lineup. But I honestly don't know if that will be enough change the trajectory we're on right now. I didn't realize it until they put the stat up, but we're 1-19 in games decided by 4 points or less, dating back to last season. So this trend began last year. That's just flat out a losing culture and mentality that's taken hold. Not good. Not good at all.

Im for change right now. It may not save this season but we still need to do it now rather than wait any longer since its clear we are not getting it done right now.
First thing we need to change is the brewer-martin starting wing duo. Brewer+martin is simply too thin and too weak for a starting wing duo. Both are bad rebounders and average at best athletes. For all the praise he gets, brewer is not a shut down defender. He play with a lot of energy and gamble a lot on d, but he makes a lot of mistakes as well and gets overpowered by bigger wings easily. We need to change that.
I say we trade martin now, he has some value, i suggested a trade for turner a while ago that could make sense for both teams. I look to trade a combo of brewer+shved or mbah a moute+dante or jj+dante for marvin williams. Gives us an athletic wing who can play 4 in small ball matchups. Can shoot the 3 as well. He is also an expiring as well. We need to clear up those mid level contracts we have on the roster.
We are not making the playoffs this year or next with the same lineup so we need to change it up. Hold onto love+rubio+pek core until next season. Try to rebuild around them 1 more time.
Saw bill bayno on the raptors bench tonight. He is a guy i would have love to succeed adelman as coach. He fits as one of those up and coming coaches int he league. He left us for the lead assistant job at toronto. I would look at thim if and when adelman decides to leave.

Q.....great examples of Brewer and Luc comparison. I believe Brewer has been a nice early season plug in at SF, and now that we have Luc....god it should have been the same day we got Luc....that Brewer gets sent to the bench as 6th man. The issue now is we have Brewer, Chase and Luc and basically no true SG bench player. I actually hope we send Barea out ASAP with perhap Brewer for a solid SG talent. Hell, at this point I would send Barea and Brewer out for Neal plus filler or JR Smith.

I keep wondering whether Adelman will come out at some point and just say he isn't enjoying this and hang it up.

Tim, I have been wondering what a few tweeks of the roster would look like for a while now. Luc for Brewer is definitely one, but you are on to something. Seeing Shved play "solid" has been a blessing, perhaps they can move Barea because for two years now....Shved is being wasted and falling into the Barea ballhog selfishness just to get shots. Its destructive to play with that dude!
