I saw this trade and thought: "Wow. I didn't think Courtney Lee could get even Bayless back in a deal." Some of us, myself included, wanted Courtney Lee at one time. Guess there wasn't much of a chance we could get him.

Bayless doesn't make sense on this team, in my opinion. We have Bayless. It's already tough to watch our Bayless (Barea) when he's off, which is a lot of the time.

Correction. I think the Celtics would have taken DWill on an expiring over Bayless for Lee.

As a fan of a team in the same conference as MEM, I love this trade. MEM is now at $68.4m with 12 players signed this summer. They won't have enough money to resign Davis and use their draft pick. Should have made BOS take Poindexter.
