Officially last in the league

In opponents FG%. This is a problem any way you try to calculate the stats in a fancier manner. Our d sucks, it is official.

Opponents can get to the rim easy on us. I'm not surprised. But I also bet we're also among the league leaders in second chance points, offensive rebounds and possibly points in the paint.

Yeah our offense is good. But dead last in opponents FG% is problematic any way you look at it. I thought it could be bad, but dead last is very disheartening.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. It is bad. But we trade a rim protector for a scoring/rebounding punch in Pekovic. That's what you get. I think that area will get better though the more we bring Dieng along.

No I know, I was just trying to reiterate my surprise at being dead last. I have been noticing more easy buckets in transition the last 10 games or so. I think we are actually average D in half court sets. But as soon as they got to run back or have unintended switches they are getting flustered. I like what Dieng could bring long term but there is a real system problem of players looking completely lost when they have to switch. Everyone predicted our D to be suspect but it is really bad right now.

Its the reason that the difference between Love and Davis is closer than we all think. Love is better, but its closer than Id prefer .

Even though we do give up a high field goal percentage, we don't make the mistake of fouling the other team and giving them easy points. We give up the least amount of foul shots as a team overall.

Seems redundant.
I did say Love is better but when u figure in how game changing Davis' def is theyre not light years away from eachother.
Loves offensive ability is better than even Kgs at the same point but what separates them is the ability to play both ends. Davis is closer to being elite at both ends than Love is. IMO

Davis isn't anywhere close to Love as a player right now.
