Pacers GDT

Post by longstrangetrip [enjin:6600564] »

I'm probably not alone in worrying about this matchup. Indy has a great starting five that can exploit our starters. Having two good shooting and scoring wings takes advantage of Martin...RA has been able to effectively hide him on defense most of this year. And Hibbert is exactly the kind of center who gives Pek fits.

On the other hand, Indy is only favored by 6 1/2. I think this reflects how truly awful the East is this year, and the fact that Indy has only faced 2 weak West teams so far...Memphis and New Orleans. Maybe tonight can be proof of how unbalanced the two divisions are. I think Corey needs to a Durant/Anthony job on George tonight, and the Kevins need to be red hot from beyond the arc, for the Wolves to win tonight.

Would be a huge win if we could get it. Like I always say, feed Pek. Get him going. Could potentially get Hibbert in foul trouble. Agreed that both Kevins need to be good tonight. It'd also be big if Barea didn't do a bunch of stupid shit tonight.

That would be huge to get the big man in foul trouble early, and I agree we need to go to Pek early. Hibbert is really being careful with fouls this year, though...averaging less than 3 a game. I'd like to see JJ provide some points off the bench tonight...his 3-point shot needs to start falling.

This is one of the first games in a while that very few think that we will win. That might be good for us.

If the starters haven't found their lost outside shooting touch then be happy the Wild are nationally televised! This game could be Houston ugly!!

It'd be nice if Love had an MVP type game tonight. 30/15 and 5 with efficient shooting. Is that too much to ask for?

George, Hill and Stephenson are gonna kill us from beyond the arc today.

It's unbelievable how much impact Hibbert has on a game...altering and blocking shots. Not surprising that the Pacers are the only team holding opponents to less than 40% shooting.

Also, nice to have the good Indy announcers after suffering through Houston. Quinn Buckner is really good.

I really want to like this team, but I have a hard time seeing this team making the playoffs. The flaws are outweighing the positives in my opinion. I'm feeling pretty good about my sub .500 prediction.

Pek sucks. 12 mil for a guy that is so damn limited will eventually go down as one of Flip's biggest mistakes.
