For those of you that were ESPN forum followers, you may or may not remember how highly I talked about Michigan State's SG Gary Harris. He was a freshman last year and caught my attention quickly. Thought if he declared that he was a definite lottery pick and had the potential to be the best player in that draft class, even though it was relatively weak in terms of studs.
He's got it all in my opinion and I expect him to leave school after this year. Think he only returned to give MSU a shot at a tourney run, enjoy another year of the college life and perfect different areas of his game. As a kid, he seems like he has everything an NBA team would want. Humble, personable, leadership qualities, competitive drive, want to "the man", etc.
I know we don't have our 2014 pick since Kahn sent it to Phoenix in the Wes Johnson deal, but I still plan on keeping up with the prospects for that class. Harris is my third best prospect right now behind only Parker and Wiggins. Yes, I have him ranked higher than Randle, Harrison twins, Smart and the rest of the ridiculously talented 2014 class.
Here's a really nice DX video breaking down Gary Harris' game for those of you that don't know too much about him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cLx6KQDKKE
He'll be a stud at the next level. Top notch two-way player. On offense, he actually reminds me of a Kevin Martin type with a prettier jumper. On defense, he's on the other end of the spectrum compared to K-Mart. Who does he remind you guys of?
MSU takes on UK tonight in a huge college hoops matchup. Ton of NBA products in that game. Randle, Harrison twins, Harris and more. If you can, watch a half or watch the whole game. Should be a good one.

The thing I noticed is how much better he moves now that he's healthy.
