Jeff Goodman reports that with the Wizards receiving Gortat, Malcolm Lee, Kendall Marshall, and Shannon Brown, everyone but Gortat will be waived.

I've been a Shannon Brown fan for awhile. This team doesn't really have a true SG to backup Kevin Martin and the inevitable games he will miss. Before we jump in and say SHVED, his game really deteriorated last year as he was forced to play more and more minutes with a healthy Rubio.

I wouldn't mind it at all. Don't know how much minutes he'd get, but as a bottom of the roster guy he'd be more than fine.
