NBA TV preview of Wolves at 5 CDT
Just saw this on Rubechat. Looks like it will be replayed a few times over the next couple of days.

Boy, I realized how very little Byron Scott knows about the Timberwolves. Always respected his insight until tonight. Made himself look like a fool.

Who are these six locks in the WC? I would say that OKC, LAC, MEM, SA are locks for the PO's, but not necessarily top 4. Teams like Denver, GS are yet to be determined. GS may not have the same year as last, and certainly have the same injury issues that we have. Sounds like Bogut is already suffering with back issues. Denver lost their best player, and their second best is coming back from an injury, and they have a new coach as well. LAL aren't guaranteed for anything, so who are these teams that a healthy wolves team can't beat out.
I personally think we will suffer injuries again this season and will be on the bubble at the end of the season.

Love's quotes in the early part of the show were terrible. He actually said, " we need to get better at being lucky." Never have I heard a good or great leader ever say something like that. Very disappointing.

He was talking about injuries. The hell do you want him to say? Minnesota got killed by injuries last year and there's little to nothing you can do about that. Players can get injured on any given play. Don't see anything wrong with Love's comment.

I'm fine with Love's comment. The keys for me are that he came to camp in great shape, has been hustling in the court, and hasn't complained or whined at all so far this preseason. His comments have been positive and he seems ready to step up as a leader. Time will tell, but o like what we've seen from Love to this point.
