Jabari done for the year

Post by khans2k5 [enjin:6608728] »

Stein just tweeted that it looks like Jabari is done for the year with an ACL tear. We'll see how he bounces back next year. Wiggins and Exum are the only two in the top 7 who have avoided significant time due to injury. That would certainly explain why this class has been somewhat underwhelming to this point.

Terrible news. Reminds me of Rubio his first year. Bad for Jabari bad for the Bucks.

Wolves will go 1-2 in rookie of the year balloting.

That really sucks. Cam has cursed him and Randle.

That's right. Cam, please continue to bag on Wiggins!

It's not a curse until Stauskas goes down! Hopefully not though.

Sad to hear this. I would have really like to see wiggins vs jabari race for rookie of the year. It will be somthing worth following and would be fun to root for one over the other. Jabari is still very young though. Im sure he can and will bounce back.

Funny, though at this point if it were to happen Wiggins still wouldn't win ROY!

Huh? I would stay with this injury I would say wiggins is a heavy favorite to win the award

Just saying Lavine has been far more assertive, though not more effective at this point. His ability to drive to the hoop can change the game, especially once Rubio is back and he shifts over to the 2. My post was suggesting Lavine wins ROY with Wiggins coming in second, and it was posted in jest. Watching the two of them play though, Wiggins tendency to sit back like a complimentary player and Lavine's tendency to be more aggresive, trying to forcefully make an impact on the game has me feeling better about Lavine long term, and concerned with Wiggins mentality, though not skills.

Cliffs Notes Version: You can see some alpha dog in Lavine, which is what we need to start seeing from Wiggins.
