Isaiah Thomas
Looks like he might press for a trade.

Would he be someone you would want on the Wolves?
I would love to have him as the backup PG. He might hurt development, but when is the last time we had a good backup PG. I wonder if they would have any interest in Young or Brewer or Bennett.

I like this thought. I don't know how we could get him without giving up draft picks. If a team saw something in Bennet at this point Flip would be committing highway robbery.

AB might fit with the Suns. Can rebound a little and more then likely shoot the 3. No way would I give up picks.

I wouldn't want to give up picks either. I just find it hard to believe that we could turn AB into Isaiah Thomas, but call them up :) It's worth a shot.

Brewer and Bennett for Thomas and we run away like winners from that trade.
Re: Isaiah Thomas
Would he cause problems when Ricky comes back and starts? Thats the biggest question.

It's possible, but I think they could coexist. I think the problem is Phoenix can't give him enough minutes because they have Dragic, Bledsoe and Green. We have Rubio, Martin and..? They'd all get sufficient playing time and could mesh together in different pairs on the floor together.

Re: Isaiah Thomas
Boy, I scrubbed both his advanced box score metrics and +/- numbers over his career and it's nothing but positive. He's probably not a top 15 PG, but he's not far behind. He would be a tremendous upgrade over the Barea/Ridnour/Mo Williams/LaVine/Brewer parade of backups over the past few years. Then again, it doesn't look like he'd want to go to a team that needs a backup.
Of course, knowing our luck, if even we did land him, he would suddenly forget how to shoot and post career low numbers, like so many other vets that have come and gone - they always look their worst with a Wolves uniform on.

Re: Isaiah Thomas
He could easily play with Rubio and LaVine. Martin would have to go, but we all know that. IT could be part of the future.
Re: Isaiah Thomas
There is definitely room for his talent, his attitude is the question mark. Maybe a 3 way with Cleveland.
Brewer, Mo to Cleveland
Thomas to Minny
Waiters to Phx
