Bye, bye Adrien

So much for Q's experiment with Adrien at PF...

Sounds like Jeff Adrien is being released, per source. Damn. He deserves to stay. But has that non-guaranteed deal. #twolves

He could still get two 10 day deals and then a guaranteed deal to finish out.

Ahh... I just saw LST posted this in the "rebuilding thread".

And I agree, Adrien was nothing to write home about, but he provided some things we are seriously lacking. I wonder if he plays tonight, or is waived afterwards? If he is not available tonight, damn, it could get ugly. With a national audience no less! Way to go, Flip!

But assuming the Wolves are signing this Rad guy, they need to create a roster spot.

Argh! They never listen to me ;)

Seriously, simply putting a big, plodding body in there for 15 minutes per night behind Gorgui isn't enough. It's the fact we NEVER have two legit bigs on the court at the same time, while other teams are overpowering us with a rotating armada of tanks and warriors....or something like that. Adrien could have been Dieng's bodyguard! Damn.

I hope Rad is a good fit here and does more for us then Adrien, but I still think Adrien helps us more then GR3. (Hummel supporter oddly enough)

Bummer. That dude has my respect. One of the few Wolves who deserved our attention this year.

I hope they plan on doing something else besides signing Rad. If they can't find some decent deals Glen needs to sack up & cut Bud while resigning Adrien. Something has to give...

That's a shame. I like Rad's offense and I think he'll be fine when it comes to rebounding but Adrien showed a fire when he was out there that I don't think Rad has.

I wonder if the deciding factor was Hummel guaranteed deal or whether they really valued Hummel over Adrien

The plot thickens, as phenom suggested!

#Twolves coach Flip Saunders left the door open to recently waived forward Jeff Adrien returning.
