The offensive sets that I have been seeing for the Wolves since the injury bug set in gets me to thinking of Gary Williams and the U of Maryland Terrapins. For YEARS, Gary ran the Flex offense, no matter what group of players he had, and opposing teams KNEW he was running the flex, and yet his teams always did well enough to score. It is a simple offense to run and can pretty much every BB player has run it somewhere.
Back-door cuts, LOTS of movement, with 2 players always at or near the top of the 3 point line, would help everyone on the current roster (injured players don't count).
Heck, after running the flex, go full court press for a few minutes like the Terps did and let the kids run. That should jumpstart the fast break!
This is half in jest...maybe less than half.
Wolves offense...use 5% of Flip's playbook or just run the Flex?

I say get more shooters and do what the Spurs do. It is basketball at it's finest. Or do what I do and run Bobby Knight's screening game. They are both terrific fundamental offenses.

Really anything that allows for cutters to the rim, spot up shooters BEHIND the 3 point line and the ability to have someone get back on defense would be preferred. ;)

Would you estimate it's closer to 5% in jest?
