CoolBreeze's 2 Things I Didn't Like Tonight Plus 1
A couple of quick did not likes before we discuss a lot of good things in the Plus 1:
1) I love Andrew Wiggins and his potential. I have no doubt he's going to be a great player, and I mean great. But in some games THIS year he seems to be Andrew "Almost" Wiggins. He almost gets a great dunk after a dribble drive. He almost gets a steal. He almost gets a rebound. I have no doubt eventually those almosts will turn into great plays. I find myself wishing we could turn the clock ahead a couple years with him.
2) Zach needs to put more pressure on the defense. He's too easy to guard the way he's playing. Put the defender on his heels instead of the other way around. He should be the dictator, and too often he getting dictated too.
Plus 1 - Let's do this tonight in bullet point fashion:
- KMart was tremendous. I know I've been critical of him, but you can't argue with his impact tonight. Just fantastic.
- Please don't trade Corey! We made that mistake once before. He's such a good role player, and he's such a good guy. He did a little of everything tonight. And please, those of you who bag on his defense, just Stop. He's a very effective defender overall, even if he does gamble a little too much. He makes up for it with impact plays. He can be a good player on every team in the league.
- This one's for Doper. Your guy Shabazz is an easy guy to like. He works so hard, and he loves the game so much. I love that he's getting some reward for all of it. Further, I can see why Flip was so adamant about keeping him.
- Hard to believe we won so easily with the players we had in street clothes. I know the Knicks didn't offer much resistance but it was still a little unexpected for me. Carmelo couldn't do it by himself tonight for a change.

Tough to disagree with anything here. Corey is great in a game like this, but put him up against a disciplined team with fresh legs and they will absolutely murder him for all the gambles and reaches he takes (we've seen it many times before). But yeah, he will absolutely drive a weary and sloppy team like the Knicks tonight crazy.

Agree with your points cool.
I know the knicks are bad but didnt know they were this bad. Fisher is way over his head as coach. Flip schooled him every step. He let flip get away with hummel at center.

I almost can't knock Fisher. Look who's helping him (Rambis)

Good write up Cool.
Big win for these guys, and hopefully a confidence booster with the Spurs coming Friday.
Top thing tonight was Shabazz's throw down from Brewer. Never expected him to get it, and in his interview he said he had the same thought.

Agree sjm. I never thought I would see a successful brewer to bazz alleyoop throw down, Not to mention how high brew threw that. Definitely highlight of the night. I have to mention bazz's 3 point play where he dunked on someone and got fouled early in the game. I thought that set the tone early. Bazz has been the surprised for me so far. He is fearless when attacking. He got upset at harderway jr too towards the end when he got fouled hard on a breakaway dunk. We need guys with attitude like that.

One thing I'll say about brewer is that he looked much more in control. It's as if on nights where he has full energy he's almost too fast for his own body. He came out tonight looking a tad sluggish in brewer terms, yet that seemed to lend itself to him playing better overall.

I totally agree about Wiggins. I keep feel like I am waiting for him to completely take over. There was a stretch of 2 possessions in the 2nd where I thought it was going to happen. But I think it is going to happen this season rather than next.
I guess we finally all have to agree that Bazz isn't athletic enough :) Most fun win of the year so far. Go Wolves.

Good win over a bad team that played even worse than they are, but still. Take it where you can get it.
I thought Gorgui was the unsung hero tonight. Especially the first 6 minutes of the third. He was all over the court.

I totally agree doper. I was watching that stretch just waiting for him to dominate, and there were a couple times he came at people with fire, but then he eased back into the flow. I don't think flip is willing to give him the keys completely because he still needs to develop others in the process.
