Nice signing I'm kinda shocked I wonder if we were the high bidder with the 1 year deal. He isn't a perfect player but he can be really good and he compliments Rubio.

Now we know that any Love deal has to involve the Wolves sending out more than just K. Love. This confirms why Wiggins had to sign before the Wolves do a deal with Cleveland. Including Wiggins salary will allow the Wolves to send more than just Love to the Cavs and still match salaries. But I still suspect the Wolves will have to cut (buy out) a current roster player -- probably Shved. (The Wolves would also need to get a couple of Cleveland's small contracts, which the Wolves would immediately waive or buy out).

So, for example, I can see the Wolves dealing Love and Brewer to the Cavs for Wiggins, Bennett, Waiters and one or two future picks. After signing Mo Williams, we would have to buy out a current roster player to stay within the 15-player roster limit. Note we would not have room to sign Robinson. If a third team with cap space like the Sixers is involved, then the Wolves could conceivably clear more space by sending a player or two to the Sixers. In that scenario, the Sixers would likely get Waiters or Bennett and the Wolves would end up with Thad Young. If the Sixers took JJ Barea, Budinger or Martin in the deal, the Wolves would have a spot for signing Robinson (assuming the Wolves also buy out Shved

Looks like Barea is a good as gone.

But.....

Can Mo Williams be included in a trade with the Cavs after 30 days? Maybe LeBron wants Williams and it's all part of a trade package. It makes sense as Williams was with Cleveland during LeBrons first stint.

I hope Barea goes to the Cavs just so he can continue to be a thorn in Love's side.

Meh. I honestly see this more as addition by subtraction if it's a sign that Barea moves. Mo Williams doesn't do anything that well except hit mid-range jumpers, which is one of the worst shots in basketball. No wonder Flip likes him.
