This is hard to watch, but indicative of the Low the Wolves are currently experiencing.

I couldn't see the video, only the sound.

I don't get it. Why did you post an interview with Joe Mauer?

Just seems defeated, and rightfully so. It's not how this season was supposed to go. After a while, saying "get 'em next year" gets old. We're way past that point.

0:51 - 1:13 says everything. It is his way of saying that this team is terrible and needs to step it up and support him. Look at his face, and the way that he is staring down at the ground, he is defeated. Visibly pissed off. Looks like he wants to come out and say "F this organization". He is sick and tired of the lack of play by his teammates and is counting his days here. If that doesn't look like a person wanting a change, then I don't know what does. Unless we have an extraordinary change of events the first half of next year, we have no choice but to trade him. He will not come back under any other circumstance. Not a chance.

So do you think...

"I'm allowed to have a bad game" = "I've been playing at an elite level for most of the season. I'm one of the top 5 players in the game. I've carried this team night out after night. And I have nothing to show for it. Again. Fuck this. I'm out."

Love really gave it his all this year. I had been a big critic of his attitude on and off the court particularly last year. But I really think he has established himself as a class act in the small sample size of great minnesota professional athletes. I would not blame him in the least if he walks at this point, he does deserve better.

do you disagree?
judging by your in-depth summarization of what that statement equals, i'd say you do not.
