76ers at Wolves GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

Well, at Wolves in Iowa... 6pm CDT start time. I briefly thought about making my way down there, but I got that stupid COVID booster yesterday and it is still kicking my butt!

Assuming everyone is a "go", I am super anxious to see the rotation Finch runs out there in the 1st quarter. And it'll be interesting to see if our newcomers are able to build on their performances a week ago. Another interesting matchup is Embiid (if he even plays). Last year we had the luxury of having two bigs, KAT and Rudy, to throw at an opposing team's dominant center. Seems like that could be one biggest of the biggest drawbacks of the KAT trade...

This game was originally not schedule to be broadcast on TV, but they have now added it to League Pass. I access League Pass via nba.com.

Oops! Just saw that Randle will not play tonight, and Rudy is a game-time decision. I suspect he will not play if Embiid does not play.

Hmm.. I Rudy is a no-go, who gets the start alongside NAZ? It seems like Garza would be the guy.

Last year it would have been SloMo...

Tim, why on earth would you still be getting Covid boosters?

I have no idea!

I am going on a 4-week National Geographic Expedition for Wildlife that begins in Singapore next year. For some reason, my wife thought it would be a good idea. She got hers, and I figured I ought to get mine, too...

My NBA-TV guide says the Wolves are there as well. We'll see...

No Gobert tonight. It's small ball tonight: Conley, ANT, DDV, Jaden and NAZ get the start.

Ugh! The broadcast is not on NBA-TV. The League Pass is the arena feed with no announcers. And they keep having technical difficulties with the stream. I don't think we have been able to see even half the game.

I mean, I know it's Iowa, but this really shouldn't be that difficult. It's not 2012 for God's sake!
