Now or never for this wolves team

Post by kekgeek »

Never heard Ant speak the way he did tonight

Always candid. But he was very up front that everyone is playing with their own agendas, can’t talk through anything, not doing anything that’s being coached and is, internally, soft

-Jace Fredrick

Anthony Edwards to reporters in Wolves locker room: "We as a team, including myself, we all was frontrunners tonight. It was some bullshit, for sure."

Ant: "I think it’s we soft as hell as a team, internally. Not to the other team, but internally, we soft. We can’t talk to each other. Just a bunch of little kids."

-Jon K

Ant had a lot to say this evening. Will be writing about it tonight. Says he feels like the team has been growing apart. That they can’t talk to each other anymore. It’s everyone, he’s not singling out the newbies. Says everyone has their own agendas right now.

Ant the king of iso-ball shows his immaturity once again. You're fucking crazy if you think this guy can be the leader of a championship team.

This is hilarious. The Wolves have always been good comedy relief, and this year hasn't disappointed.

TC inherited a team with Ant, KAT and McDaniels and traded away nearly every draft pick for the next 7 years, plus a perennial all-star center to get two past their prime malcontents to pair with their young superstar. Just idiotic on so many levels. I won't blame Ant if he forces himself out of this chaos. If he doesn't get his way, maybe he just retires from the NBA to go to the NFL. I can't wait to see how this trainwreck plays out. Anway, hoping the doofus Finch gets canned sometime next year.

KAT is trash and the best trade to ever happen was to dump him for peanuts.

NBA coaches have an almost impossible situation when things are going bad and they actually have to start coaching. If we were to fire Finch who could actually replace him and have credibility? Having an authoritarian isnt going to fly at this point or on most NBA teams.

I like that Ant bitched to the media at this point, but he better pick it up now. Hes only been good, and this team needs him to be great if there is any possibility of turning this ship.

Only Ant is better and possibly Rudy, but I guess everyone on the Wolves is trash then.

I wanted Coach Bud last year. Nick Nurse was a guy I liked too and I know Sixers suck this year but that's because their three stars are injured. But they got the leading ROY candidate McCain.

I'll be honest, the only way we get rid of Finch is for the Wolves to miss the playoffs and that is still no certainty. But I'll always vote for short term pain for the long term good of the franchise. Keep the losses coming please until we can fire the doofus coach or the doofus GM and hopefully both.

So the Wolves have a deep bench, but the coach doesn't think so.
The defense looks lost with players not playing to their level.
The starters(at least 2 of them) don't show that they care but the coach doesn't change anything.
The offense goes stagnant for long stretches but the coach does nothing.
I think Finch has lost the locker room and nobody listens to him anymore.
If this team has any chance, something needs to change. Can Finch make the changes to keep his job?
