Where is Finch's F?

You sound like Cam, with putting your name on every thread.

Ant gets an D-. His effort was weak. He even said he was happy to see KAT have a great game and win.

On the positive side it's 1 of 82. It's a long season. This is concerning to have a weak ass effort though and show no killer mentality.

But this is kind of the mentality of many if not 99% of todays players in the NBA. I can only think of a select few who are killers. Westbrook for instance took the most out of his ability even though he could never learn to shoot well. He for sure put in the effort. Like who else in the NBA is a killer night in and out?

Speaking of Westbrook, Ant has his athleticism with a 43% 3pt shot (and probably a much better mid range shot too). How many godawful post-durant OKC teams did Russ drag to the post season by just saying "fuck it, I'll do everything if that's what it takes to win"? There are stretches where Ant can be like that, but Russ looked like he was playing with a chip on his shoulder most of the game. It's nice that he took a lot of strides to improve his 3 ball (and with the league trend, it's probably the right move), but he still has a lot more work to do in terms of bbiq and playmaking on offense so he can lift the play of players with his on-court play rather than just with his cheerleading/hyping up.

That's why I bring up Westbrook with a killer mentality. Ant isn't doing enough game in and out to lift this team up to elite status this season.

On the other side sure, you have to acknowledge the double and triple teams, you have to pass out of that. You need to make the right play and rely on teammates to pick the team up. But still in general. A 17 point night is still very poor. Grab ten boards and ten assists if you are not scoring. His level of intensity isn't there, like he has shown in the playoffs.

Ant shouldn't differ to Randle to go off and score like 4 points in the first half.

Take the lead and be the man. Doesn't mean taking every shot. Be a monster on defense. Grab more boards, etc. Lead by example of playing hard every night.
