Is The PIVOT Dead? Warriors at Wolves GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

I am starting this one early because I will miss the beginning of the game tonight. If we lose, the PIVOT is dead and I will cease starting the GDTs.

The PIVOT started when the Wolves lost at home to the Kings and were about to embark on their most brutal 15-game stretch of the season, all against playoff teams. The Wolves have gone 6-2 to start those 15 games, which is pretty good, even if we are reeling from the Knick shellacking. 7 more games to go, starting tonight.

The final 2 games of the 15-game stretch are against OKC and Boston. So, we, including the front office, will have a real good idea where the Wolves stand to start the new year.

The Warriors, featuring their new acquisition, Dennis Schroder, were whacked worse than the Wolves in their last game by Memphis. So, tonight is a battle of reeling teams trying to regain their footing. Should make for some entertaining basketball.

Schroeder will help them, but he sure didn't in their blowout loss to Memphis...2 for 12 with 4 TOs and a -34! But it seems like he often plays well against us, so I'm a little wary.

I think most of us here are ready to move on from the Knicks disaster, but man were we awful...especially Rudy. And Randle's hero ball didn't help either. We definitely need to show the fans something tonight, or those boos will rain down from the upper deck again. Ant needs to play within himself and not try too hard in front of his idols Steph and Draymond. Golden State has lost three in a row and hasn't won since they beat...dammit, us! And they've lost 8 of their last 10. But any team with Steph is still dangerous, so we need to bring our A defensive game tonight. I have a feeling we will now that KAT has left the building.

Seriously pull the starters and put in the end if the bench now. These guys should be ashamed of themselves

Guess I can just skip this one so far. Was planning on watching the replay.

Hopefully TC gets the message and moves Randle.
