Agree with your grades for the most part. So frustrating to see us waste such a good DDV, Jaden, Naz, and Rudy game. I actually thought Randle played a hell of a game until he started coughing the ball up.

Ant was terrible. I know he hit some guys with a few nice passes and some hockey assists, but he not only shot poorly and coughed the ball up a bunch, he also got flat out beat on defense on multiple occasions. He's had a great run of play here lately and won us a few games, but this loss is on him. He gets an F from me. The bar is high!

Ya Randle down the stretch lowered his grade for me.

I give credit for letting the game come to him with them face guarding him all game. I think the grizzlies focus on Ant was a main reason why the offense was good tonight. But he got a C because he needs to be better individually

Yeah, I agree with kek that Ant deserves a C, and the last minute of the game dropped Ju from an A to a B.

The only grade I disagree with though is NAW's D+. His 1 for 7 on 3's was bad, but he had 6 assists and did a great job on Ja when Jaden wasn't guarding him. I love how he never takes a play off. I would give him a B-.

Thinking more about it, I'm going to downgrade Rudy also...probably down to a C. He's difficult to grade this game because there are so many variables: he made all 6 of his shots, but again, when he takes less than 7, the Wolves almost always lose (I know...not entirely his fault he only got 6). His presence at the rim was notable with several "never minds", but he had only 1 block...and with only 4 rebounds, he was one of the major culprits allowing them 21 offensive boards. He moved the ball very well and had 4 assists and no TOs, but his two bricked free throws with a minute left and a 2 point lead were instrumental in the loss. A lot of good, and a lot of bad...that's a C in my book.

I share your assessment of Rudy. Rudy’s job is to defend the rim and rebound. That’s why he’s paid nearly $50 million this season and a new three-year deal guaranteed at an average of $36 million per year. Rudy can’t get higher than a C with only 1 block and 4 rebounds while the other team dominates the offensive boards. His offense was pretty good, but the missed both of his two free throws, which really hurt. He gets a D+ from me as does Ant. Rudy is expected to defend and rebound; Ant is expected to score. Neither one did what they’re expected to do under their enormous contracts. As a result, the
Wolves lost in spite of terrific performances from Jaden and Donte.
