6 Games Left In The Wilderness - Wolves at Suns GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

Continuing the Wilderness theme until the trade deadline, or a trade. Which ever comes first. My favorite Randle trade can't happen until Feb 5th, so I am stuck in the Wilderness for awhile.

Of course, that may not be a bad thing since the Wolves are 3-0 since I ventured out here. But I can't say I'm very opTIMistic about tonight. The Suns are among the 3 hottest teams in the league with an 8-2 record over their last 10 games. And while the Wolves have won 3 straight, only one win was felt good. As FNG pointed out, Dilly is questionable with an illness, but so is KD with the Suns. For whatever reason, the Wolves look to be a 1.5 point favorite tonight.

I'll be watching the game, but am still struggling to embrace this team knowing that a Randle trade is likely.

Yeah, the Wolves built up a lot of positive vibes for me with that signature Denver win, but then they kind of gave it back with how they looked against Atlanta. Getting the win was great, but tough to go into this one feeling like we know which team will show up. Will it be the one that beat the Knicks in the Garden and beat Denver at home or the one that choked away the game at Memphis and barely hung on to beat a depleted Hawks team? Can't trust these guys yet!

Now Naz is questionable with an illness. Sounds like "Typhoid Ant" might have infected the locker room! Well, he played through it, so maybe Rob and Naz will too. But if they can't go, it might be the Josh & Joe show off the bench. We had thought about making the trip up I-10 to see the game live, but we still have PTSD from the game we went to last season when the Wolves were down 15-0 to start the game and were never in it.

Interesting Fungo, you have PTSD whereas Ant has an STD. I hope NAZ's illness is unrelated for obvious reasons.

Ha! Good luck with your bet on Ant tonight. I noticed the line has moved in the Suns’ favor 3 points since this morning…probably means KD is playing.

Thanks man, think he might get it by halftime.

Naz out, Rob in. Who gets Naz's minutes...Josh or Luka?

Terrible start from Randle on both ends.
