The Gauntlet: The Pickup - Wolves at Cavs GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

The real Gauntlet starts tonight and lasts for the next 7 games. Even if the worst case scenario unfolds, the Wolves would still be a .500 team coming out of the Gauntlet with one of the easiest remaining schedules. Every win in the Gauntlet is a bonus and should be celebrated.
We've got a problem, you and me. We don't like each other, but we're taking a trip together. You can come along peacefully or be a pain in the ass. But I warn you, mess around and I'll put cuffs on. Talk dirty, I gag you. If you run, I'll shoot you. My name is Shockley. We've got a plane to catch.
ANT and Mike are both listed as questionable. Regardless of their status, my plan is to enjoy the journey that some of our young guns are on. They need to get playing time under their belts, regardless of whether it is good or bad. Just get the playing time.

Well done Ben (Shockley).

I don't think we'll see ANT tonight. I'd love to see how fast we can play with Dilly/NAW/TJS/McDaniels/NAZ and Clark (i know that's 6!) as I mentioned in the off-season you could really perform Hockey-Line changes and as the season continues just to wear opponents down with the speed these guys can play at.

We still haven't seen TJS as a wrecking ball in transition (which i know he can be)....I'm also wondering if Minott is done. We know he puts in the work...did he pout after the 11.8 second yank? What's going on there?

We’re in the ambulance, the rental car has blown up, and the bad guys are chasing and shooting. We need Malloy to start firing back!

Are the players in shock that Glen is actually on his way out or are they upset about it?

Welp, we slowed the bleeding in the 2nd quarter. And ANT’s hip seems to be loosening up!

I just hope we come out of this with no injuries and no temper-tantrum suspensions. We need all hands on deck against Milwaukee!
