It rhymes!
The Wolves currently sit at #7, but the KOM predicts they will finish at #6. If the Warriors earn an anti-klunker or two, they could bump the Wolves out of the #6 spot. So, it would behoove the Wolves to earn their own anti-klunker or two!
The KOM predicts a loss tonight. It is the most likely anti-klunker candidate of all the remaining forecasted losses. So, I am not only hoping for a win tonight, I am kind of expecting a win.
Rudy was listed as "questionable", so there is a chance we could see a healthy roster tonight -- the first time since DDV went down in January. It would be helpful to get a couple full-strength games under our belts before we head to Denver next week.
I assume Conley is back, but I expect DDV to get the start. My guess is NAZ goes back to the bench. And we'll see how many of the kids get minutes...
Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
Re: Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
I had this one as a win in my model, so we need it to keep from dropping down one win. I thought the line on this one would be 1 or 2 points, so I was surprised to see Wolves - 5 1/2. Makes me think the wise guys have some G-2 that Herro and/or Jaquez arent playing and Rudy is. Anyway, gotta win this one. I also expect to see Donte and Ju in the starting lineup, with Naz hopefully hot outside the arc off the bench. I think Finchie returns to his 8 man rotation with Clark/TJ getting 12-15 minutes depending on the situation.
Re: Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
Umm... If Clark/TJ are getting 12-15 minutes, I would call that a 9-man rotation. Which would be a good thing!FNG wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 11:18 am I had this one as a win in my model, so we need it to keep from dropping down one win. Yeah, I meant the core 8 plus a combo of TJ and Clark as the 9th. I think Rob only sees the court if either mike, Donte or NAW gets hurt.
Re: Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
Bummer. Rudy is out tonight. But, so are Wiggins and Burks.
Re: Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
Conley gets the start over DDV. If I were KG4ever I would have a thing or two to say about Finch!
Re: Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
Very weird. Is DDV still on a minutes restriction? Because the other reason it doesn't make sense is that Finch thought the presence of Randle took some of Conley's purpose away, whereas DDV and Randle have better synergy, thus that was one of the driving factors of the original shift to start DDV instead of Conley. Then Conley can be more actively engaged as a distributor with the second unit. Oh well.....

Yeah. Even with a solid win, it's just kind of a buzz kill.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 7:02 pmVery weird. Is DDV still on a minutes restriction? Nice start for a change. And Conley has looked fine.
Re: Beat the Heat! - Wolves at Heat GDT
Great play by Clark. I just can't see giving up much for KD this summer. It really only worked out great for Golden State and they probably could have won without him. Keep the youth.
