Gentleman's Sweep - Wolves at Lakers GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

The bad news is I am back in the States -- no more Namibia Vibes...

It seems most talking heads that said the Lakers would win the series are having doubts about it now. But they are saying the Lakers WILL win tonight. I need a Wolves win tonight to fulfill my "Wolves in 5" prediction.

We are playing with house money tonight, right? I have this wish that Rudy explodes tonight as the Wolves bury the Lakers!

I will say that the Lakers have played better against the Wolves than I thought they would. The Lakers could easily be up 3-1 in this series. But here we are with the Wolves having an excellent chance of closing this thing out either tonight or on Friday. I'm not sure I like our chances if this series goes 7.

Welcome home Tim. I bet you have a lot of stories to share.

I think the blueprint is simple. Stay close enough the first 3 quarters and hope we have them worn down by the fourth. That seems to have been working. I'd really like to get it done tonight. We should have a lot of confidence.

This is an easy win for the Lakers. Wolves have been hyped up and will come out weak and pathetic.

It was a trip of a life time to take in wildlife in a variety of Asian and African countries. The trip was suppose to include gorillas in Rawanda, but some recent unrest there is why we wound up in Zambia and Namibia instead.

The trip home was eventful as we had a layover in Madrid during the their multi-country power outage. It took many hours to get out of the airport to our hotel as Uber was mostly unavailable due to limited cellular service. The line of people waiting for taxis was a quarter mile long! We eventually managed to secure a hotel shuttle reservation later that night. The hotel was operating on generators, but services were very limited...

I imagine a ton of external adversity via the refs but a good game overall. I will be very optimistic if the Wolves pull this one off.

We have yet to have good shooting games from Donte or NAW. Rudy has yet to make an impact on the offensive end. If any of those guys can have a productive night, it will bode well for our chances.

Someone has to balance out your extreme optimism. Not to mention, the Lakers are 6 point favorites or so on the betting sites and heavy favorites to win the game.

Did the Lakers add some players to their bench that Reddick will play? Maybe some length?

Well, Maxi Kleber is listed as "Questionable" for the first time since he came over with Luka following foot surgery...
